Your Starlink Is Only as Good as Its View of the Sky. Give It 30 Feet of Clearance.

You paid for high-speed internet, but the oak tree, the roofline or the neighbor's barn keeps cutting in. Video calls freeze. Streams buffer. The app keeps flagging obstructions. The fix isn't a new plan: it's height. Our Telescoping Pole for Starlink lifts your Starlink Standard (Gen 3) dish to 14 ft, approx. 23.6 ft or 30 ft (roughly the height of a three-story building), with no holes in your roof and no tools to raise it.

Starlink's own pipe-adapter installation guide puts it plainly: your dish "needs a clear view of the sky," and objects "such as a tree branch, pole, or roof, will cause service interruptions."

The problem with "good enough" mounts

A dish on the ground sees your trees. A roof mount means a ladder, holes in your shingles and a climb every time snow piles up. A DIY PVC pipe? Starlink's own accessory guide says its pipe adapter is only intended for metal pipes, not PVC or plastic. This kit is a purpose-built aluminum telescoping pole with a Gen 3 pipe adapter included, so your dish gets up and over the obstructions the right way.

Why Starlink Owners Choose a Telescoping Pole

  • Clear the tree line: choose 14, ~23.6 or 30 ft and get your dish above fences, rooflines, RVs and branches.
  • Raise it in minutes, no tools: pull out each section and lock it with the quick flip locks, which keep the pole from collapsing.
  • Service it from the ground: snow on the dish or time to adjust? Unlock, lower, done. No ladder, no climbing on the roof.
  • Metal, not plastic: an aluminum pole with the rust and water resistance aluminum is known for. Pick Black or Silver.
  • Gen 3 adapter included: made of glass-fiber reinforced polycarbonate, with a fixed tilt angle and 2 socket head cap screws for a snug, custom fit.
  • Light enough to handle alone: even the 14 ft pole weighs just 4.9 lbs, less than a gallon of water (≈ 8.3 lbs). The 30 ft model is 8.82 lbs.
  • Tidy cable run: 20 screw-in cable clips keep your Starlink cable neat along the pole.
  • Home today, road trip tomorrow: install it in the included PVC ground sleeve, or choose With Tire Mount and set it up wherever you park.

Easy Setup

  1. Scout your spot: use the obstruction tool in the Starlink app, call 811 before you dig, and stay well clear of overhead power lines.
  2. Set the base: install the PVC ground sleeve as shown in the included manual, or, with the tire mount, park on level ground, set the brake and drive one wheel onto the base.
  3. Mount the dish: attach the Gen 3 pipe adapter to your dish and tighten the 2 screws on top of the pole.
  4. Raise and lock: extend the sections you need, locking each flip lock as you go, and clip the cable along the pole.

Safety First

  • Keep away from power lines. Choose a spot where the pole could not touch any overhead line even if it fell, and never raise or lower it near power lines.
  • Use guy wires to stabilize the pole in windy or exposed locations, and lower or collapse it in severe weather.
  • Only extend the pole as high as your site and anchoring safely allow, following the included manual.
  • With the tire mount: level ground, parking brake set. Always lower and remove the pole before moving the vehicle.
  • Call 811 before digging to locate underground utilities.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which dish does this fit?
This kit includes a pipe adapter for the Starlink Standard (Gen 3) dish. Using a Starlink Mini? See our Telescoping Pole for Starlink Mini.

How tall is the 25 ft model really?
It extends to approx. 23.6 ft. We say so up front so you can plan your height with real numbers.

Do I have to install it in the ground?
No. Use the included PVC ground sleeve for a home setup, or choose With Tire Mount to set it up anywhere you can park.

Can I lower it later?
Yes. Unlock the flip locks to bring the dish down for snow, cleaning or storage, right from the ground.

Does the tire mount fit every height?
Yes. The tire mount fits all three poles, including the 30 ft model, and comes with 3 sleeves. It ships in a separate package from the pole and adapter.

Can I buy a spare adapter?
Yes. See our Pole Adapter for Starlink Standard (Gen 3), available in two pole sizes.

What's the wind rating?
The manufacturer doesn't publish a certified wind rating, so we don't print one. Use guy wires on exposed sites and lower the pole in severe weather.

Is the Starlink dish included?
No. The dish, cable and router are sold by Starlink.
