Turn Any Pole Into a Starlink Mount. No Drilling, No Roof Work.
Your Starlink Standard (Gen 3) ships with a kickstand, which is perfect for the ground and useless the moment a tree, a fence or the house is in the way. Most obstructions can't be moved. Your dish can. The Pole Adapter for Starlink Standard (Gen 3) replaces the kickstand and locks your dish on top of a pole, so you can raise it above whatever is cutting your signal.
Starlink's own installation guide puts it plainly: your dish "needs a clear view of the sky," and objects "such as a tree branch, pole, or roof, will cause service interruptions."
Why not just zip-tie it?
Because a dish that shifts in the wind loses its aim, and straps, tape and homemade brackets loosen with every gust and every freeze-thaw cycle. This adapter is purpose-built: glass-fiber reinforced polycarbonate, a fixed tilt angle and 2 socket head cap screws that clamp it to your pole for a secure, custom fit.
Small Part, Big Upgrade
- Two pole sizes, one for almost any pole: choose Up to 1 1/2" (1 9/16" socket) or 1 1/4" to 2 1/2" (2 1/2" socket) to cover everything from slim poles to heavier pipe.
- Weather resilient: glass-fiber reinforced polycarbonate stands up to heavy rain and harsh winds.
- Fixed tilt angle: engineered to give your dish an unobstructed view of the sky.
- 2-screw clamp: tighten the 2 socket head cap screws with the included Allen key for a snug, wobble-free hold.
- Lightweight: just 0.66 lb (about 10.5 oz) for the Up to 1 1/2" size and 0.82 lb (about 13 oz) for the 1 1/4" to 2 1/2" size, so it adds almost nothing to the top of your pole.
- Tidy install: 20 screw-in cable clips are included to run your Starlink cable neatly down the pole.
- Swap in minutes: remove the kickstand, fit the adapter, slide it onto the pole. No drilling.

Which Pole Size Do I Need?
Measure the outer diameter at the top of your pole (or wrap a string around it and divide the length by 3.14), then pick:
- Up to 1 1/2": for poles 1 1/2" (3.8 cm) or thinner. 1 9/16" (3.9 cm) socket. This is the size that ships with our Telescoping Pole for Starlink, so choose it for a spare or replacement.
- 1 1/4" to 2 1/2": for poles from 1 1/4" to 2 1/2" (3.2 to 6.3 cm). 2 1/2" (6.3 cm) socket. Choose it for thicker existing pipes and poles above 1 1/2".
Pole between 1 1/4" and 1 1/2"? Both sizes fit. We suggest Up to 1 1/2": its smaller socket leaves less gap for the screws to take up.
Need the Pole Too?
Pair it with our Telescoping Pole for Starlink: an aluminum telescoping pole in 14, ~23.6 or 30 ft, with the Up to 1 1/2" Gen 3 adapter already in the box, a PVC ground sleeve, and an optional drive-on tire mount. Already own one? Keep this adapter as a spare or for a second mounting spot.
What's in the Box
- 1x Gen 3 pole adapter
- 20x screw-in cable clips
- 2x screws
- 1x Allen key
- 1x instruction manual
Starlink dish and pole are not included.

- Swap the kickstand: remove the kickstand from your dish and fit the pole adapter in its place.
- Mount: slide the adapter over the top of your pole and snug the 2 screws.
- Lock and tidy: once your dish is aligned, tighten the screws fully with the Allen key and clip the cable down the pole.
Safety First
- Use a sturdy metal pole. Starlink's own guidance for its pipe adapters is to avoid PVC and plastic pipes.
- Keep away from power lines. Never raise a pole where it could touch an overhead line, even if it fell.
- Tighten the screws fully once aligned, and lower tall poles in severe weather.

Which dish does it fit?
Starlink Standard (Gen 3). For the Starlink Mini, see our Pole Adapter for Starlink Mini.
What pole sizes does it fit?
Two sizes: Up to 1 1/2" (3.8 cm) or 1 1/4" to 2 1/2" (3.2 to 6.3 cm) outer diameter. Measure the top of your pole before you order.
