For safety and product longevity, lower the flag and remove or secure the pole during severe storms or high winds.
We have been in our home for 30 years. My grandparents and father that served would always have a USA flag flying. Never wanting to deal with the halyards. Many of our neighbors were using telescoping poles. THE PATRIOT YARD pole seemed perfect. After arrival, I installed it. Comes with all the hardware. One clamp would not tighten down. One email sent to customer service and in a few short days a new pole arrived. The customer service statement was "if our pole isn't securing properly we will send you out a new one". We just got our 20' installed a few days ago. It took no more than one hour to dig the hole, luckily we had just had a lot of rain so the clay was easy to penetrate here in TN, quikcrete, set the sleeve, insert the flagpole, hook up the flag, solar light, topped with an eagle. It's beautiful day or night. The flag that came with the package is very thin. We are using a thicker 3x5 flag instead. Overall, very satisfied with the purchase.

Just bought this for my husband can’t wait to get it.
I am 65 years old and I was able to install mine by myself. It was actually very easy. For me the hardest part was moving the 50lb bag of cement to mix it. I actually used a scoop to remove the cement from the bag until I could actually lift it and able to pour into the mixture. I love it. I still need to purchase a Flag made in the USA, but got a 250 year flag coming as well.
